1st Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Lightweight Semi-Final Round - First Match: Lindsey ^^ Vs. Stephy3A (Shurado)

“Hello folks, and welcome to the first annual Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Lightweight Semi-Finals!  We are about to begin our First Match!” The announcer said into his microphone, the noise blasting over the roaring crowd. The battle would take place in a circular Ba Sing Se arena, which had pools of water around the edges. Tricks and traps were riddled everywhere through this arena, to be activated by Mr. Showbiz's will.

“Today, we'll be witnessing the fierce battle between Karasu Kazegami and Arlania Shir. The gates will open on my mark. With the combatants set, and the battlefield ready for them, let's give them a warm welcome!  Now before we begin, let's remind our fighters that they'll each have 100HP and will roll a random number of 30 instead of 20 for the Lightweight Matches.  Attack and Defence stay the same, at 10.  Without further ado...”

Karasu watched her opponent as the pair entered the Ba Sing Se Arena.  They had been doing it for repeatedly for the past several weeks, fighting other opponents to finally get down to here, the Semi-Final Rounds.  Victory was so close everyone could taste it, and what was to come were the fiercest of all fights.  But right now, Karasu needed to deal with her current opponent.  And after her loss in the preliminaries, Karasu wasn't loosing again.  Karasu gathered water into three icy spears, and shot them all at her opponent in succession, one after the other, hoping to hit her arms or legs, giving Karasu the upperhand in this fight.

ARLANIA SHIR

Her footsteps quieted as she entered the arena, the dull ground let way only subtle sounds. Her hair brushed past her back softly. It was pulled back in her usual ponytail. Arlania had worked hard to get here. Her first loss against Leo pained her brain. she vowed to not lose in this game again.

Her opponent made the first move. She was a waterbender as well. This was going to be fun. She was curious about their different techniques.

She crossed her open palm across her shoulder, moving the Ice Spears around her. So she didn't have to dodge them herself. Arlania used those same spears and turned them against her opponent. She shot them all at once and halfway there she split them into thousand of tiny slivers. Try dodging those...

Karasu smiled as her opponent tried to redirect her attack. Redirecting was the first thing any Water Bender learned. It was Water Bending 101, basic tactics. Tactics that, while it was nice to see, and it was touching to see someone remembering the basics, would not work on a member of the Order of the Elements like Karasu. Karasu raised her hand at the last moment, freezing the spears in midair. She let them hand there long enough for dramatic effect, then with a snap, they melted right away. Karasu then gathered as much water as she could and covered her entire body in an ice-like armour.

Freezing the water into armour was only step one, she then added ten hands, five on each side, to them. An upgraded version of her 10 Edicts of Enlightenment. The Ten Prayers of the Bodhisattva. Rushing towards her opponent, Karasu kept her hands together, as if in prayer. If she parted her hands at all, the technique would fall apart, and that would be unpoetic. As she reached her opponent, Karasu hummed, as if in prayer, and one of the 10 Icy fists sprang to life and went in to punch her opponent.

ARLANIA SHIR

Her opponent placed her palms together and formed a Ice Armor over her body. Simple, but when she formed more hands from the Ice, it got interesting. Arlania watched as one of those fists hurled towards her. Instead of dodging the attack, Arlania charged.

She met the fist straight on, hitting it herself with her own fist. The ice parted around her hand, and she punched again and again. Faster and faster. The ice gave way under her fists, using waterbending to dig the Ice. She barreled her way in closer and closer.

When she got in close enough Arlania brought a whip of water closer to her and swung it around. She aimed to slice the entire suit of Ice armor in half, and ultimately pull her opponent from her casing.

OMG GIANT FIRE BALLS OF DOOM SHOOT AT BOTH OPPONENTS!
