The Rouges (OPEN)

The sun cascaded down the evening sky, it's image and heat spared from the skins and eyes of the villagers below for a few split seconds as it was blocked by a pair of clouds as they hovered past. The smell of freshly cooked meat and stew filled the air around the houses and slithered into the nostrils of all who walked down the rocky streets that weaved past the houses. "Niki! Get back over here!" Niki's mother cried as her son, wondered over to the wooded area located parallel to the village, "You know the rules. No playing in the forest at this time of hour. Now come, help me carry this basket back to the house. We have to prepare supper for your papa to come home". Niki stood ideally by the edge of the forest, glaring through the bushes with fearful eyes as he took a step back then spun around to his mother, "But mama!" Niki pleaded, "I saw something..pairs of red glowing eyes looking at me through the trees". Niki's mother sighed and forced a smile for her fearful son as he extended her hand out towards him and he ran over and took it, "Come, let's go cook for papa, hmm?". Inside she knew about the eyes, the whole village knew about the eyes in the tree line; it became a common sight and spine chilling event in the village after three children were found dead in the forest and nobody ever knew why. All that was left was the tools used to kill the young ones and a set of tracks.

That night the red eyes proceeded further towards the village, their eyes set on the houses as people went into them to mark the end of their daily shifts. One pair of red eyes gazed over to the other four and nodded before they shot off towards the village and it's houses. A series of cries and plea's for help were all that was heard that night..it was all that was ever heard of the village for the rest of the foreseeable future. All in the village were killed, brutally murdered and gashed open by their necks and major arteries. It came to be known as the night of blood to the near by villages and nobody ever dared enter the village again. The village..controlled..by The Rouges.

Present Day...

Nanuq along the beaten path as he had done for several days, nothing ever interesting came up nor exciting. But the feeling of happiness was to each it's own, and Nanuq greatly enjoyed walking along the paths of the Earth Kingdom and mapping out the places he had been. But his journey was forced to a halt as he came upon a sign dashed in blood. Welcome to the town of Fun'wey Ju it read with hand prints marked with blood wiped across it's front, streaming down the entirety of the sign. Nanuq glanced around the surrounding area to see if anyone was near before turning around then peering back at the sign. Against his good intentions, which told him to walk back the other way, Nanuq spun back around and nonchalantly continued on the path and past the bloodied sign. Unbeknownst to him, a set of red glowing eyes scrutinized his every movement from this moment onward and never did it stop.
