When Daggers Collide :: Kyoni & Lindsey

Sara smirked as she felt contact and he fell to the ground. Suddenly he rolled and she watched as he flung three cards at her. What was this? Monkey see - Monkey do? She had to quickly dodge, Sara turned her body but it wasnt as timed correctly as she wanted and a card nicked her right above the breast. She scowled. She wasnt going to lose this fight.

She rethought her situation, he was good with medium range with all his cards but what about close distance. Sara unsheathed her dagger and sprinted towards him, closing the jap. She began to jab quickly with her knife, adding a kick here and there.

Haydn smirked as the thought he was going to win this. As long as he kept her at range Haydn would win. He stepped back to prepare for another attack when suddenly she burst towards him. He stepped to the side but wasn't fast enough to dodge the dagger. It glazed his right shoulder just enough to gather all his attention. Distracted he was hit by a series of kicks.

He was knocked on his ass at this point. Crap she found out about his limitation on his range. He jumped back up and started to run. When the stuff looks bad, run the hell way. Sprinting down the hall he sent up a flurry of cards that covered the halls to try and distort her vision.

Sara smirked as she thought she had him. But suddenly he darted and dashed, down the hallway they went. She sprinted after him, he was not going to get away from her, she had to catch him quickly, she had too. All this attention wasnt good, she was a wanted criminal here.

He sent a flurry of cards to either distract her or slow her down or something but that certainly wouldnt work, Sara pointed two fingers in front of her and set them all ablaze, burning into ash. She was a weapons specialist so she had a few tricks up her sleeve, literally.

Saranade pulled out four kunai which had one giant net attached, she quickly let them fly from her hand, and just in time, they were nearing a corner, perfect place to catch her prey. With that she consumed the whole place on fire, this had to end now!

He was getting away! Yes he was going to lose and he knew it if he kept up any longer. He made it down pretty far in the hallway when he got caught by a net. He was struggling against the wall while the building caught a blaze. "So looks like you win. What now?' Said Haydn as he attempted to pull out a kunai in the wall. Which didn't seem to budge.

Sara watched as her net entrapped her prey, she smirked as her chase was over. She pulled out another dagger and sprinted up to her enemy, but as she neared him, she stopped, and lowered her knife. She resorted back to her training and her intense experiences, she also had a flash back of when she killed her own master, and her own love. She clenched her hand around the handle of the blade.

She looked down and then behind her, she proceeded to cut the rope away from him, " Look, i'm not letting you go, if i do its my head. But I-" She looked at him directly in the eyes," Just don't ask okay?" She said.

Suddenly they heard loud voices down stairs, they had to move fast, the dominion was on her heels. " We need to go, follow me, or ill just kill you right here and now." She said as she broke the window glass next to them, there was a perfect ledge just outside the window. She jumped onto the ledge and onto the roof next door. She looked back to see if he was following her. If he ran this time, she would have to go after him again, and that was defiantly a dangerous idea since he knew she would be coming.

Haydn dropped from the wall while wiping off all the dust from the burning building. He stood straight up and brushed his shoulders off. The building burned with delight. He really liked this girl even though she was going to kill hi-----. He just stood there dumbfounded she was letting him live. He did what she said and followed her along the rooftops. He was curious, why would she not kill him after all that effort. "I know its not my place and you said not to, but why are you letting me life."

As soon as he joined her Sara saw figures coming up the stairs and up to the window they just lept from. She pulled out explosives from her pocket and threw them into the burning building where they exploded and severed the guards that pursued them. She looked at him, " I will all explain later, we have to run now, like i said before, you don't do as i say, as you will die." She then quickly ran across the roof tops and towards the edge of town. There was a disguised boat waiting for her escape from behind a rocky cliff.

She looked back at Haydn, " Jump. " She said calmly, it was like a 250 ft drop down into the ocean, and Sara gracefully dived off the edge and dipped into the raging water. She swam up to her boat and climbed in. Hoping he would join her.

Haydn kept on running as the woman spoke to him. They arrived ad a ledge at the edge of town. He looked back as she jumped off the edge. He contemplated whether to go or stay. He grabbed his head thinking. The sounds of people catching onto them hurried to their location. He had to decide now or else he would die. Well giving the choices he might die no matter what choice he makes. All he could do was gamble with fate. He smirked as some of the guards came to the area. They surrounded him as he stood on the ledge. "Get on the ground with your hands behind your back." Haydn put his hands into the air and stepped back off the ledge.

He was in a free fall to what might be his death. He didn't know what exactly drove him to this answer but he knew this was the right choice. He twisted his body so that he face pointed down and closed his eyes. To his luck a wave caught him right before he crashed into the water and saved him from more pain than its worth. He shadow bended his way back to the surface using the shroud under the tides. Once on the surface he swam to the boat and climbed onto it. "Well that's just a twist of fate." He chuckled and then collapsed onto the deck.

Sara quickly steered the boat away from the rocks, and away from the Dark Nation Territory, also known as the Night Angel Dominion. The boat caught current and disappeared on the horizon.

Sara sighed with relief, she had gotten away, but it was awfully close. She had never gotten this close to death before. It was all because she let him live, and why was the big question, she couldn't even explain that completely to herself.

Sara let her hair down from her ponytail, it flowed around her shoulders nicely, and she watched as the sun peeked over the edge of the world. Beautiful colors it sprayed across the sky.

She looked behind her to see Haydn, she sighed again and stood up, walking over towards him. She stood in front of him her arms crossing her torso, and her hips twerked out a little bit, " I guess you deserve some form of explanation then i guess."

Haydn slumped back up onto the ledge of the boat with his arm hanging off. He sat there still breathing a little heavily from the sudden impact of the water. "Yea.....Do you do this to all your victims or am I just special?" He placed his hands behind him and lifted himself up by the edge of the boat to stand up. He wobbled a bit but he got the hang of it.
