Beggining A New ~ Lee, Midnight& Kyo

Raine smiled as she walked through the dark city. She had just finished a preformance and was looking for a place to stay. She ruffled through her coin bag, which was full From tonight. The crowd was exceptionally large today and they paid well. “Great job Raine,” she said to herself. Raine smiled, but stopped abruptly as a parchment of hers fell from her bag. She stopped and bent down to pick it up. Raine glanced up slowly to see three rough looking men.

They smiled and gazed at her with evil smiles. Raine gasped and stepped back, she turned to run but was blocked off by two others. One stepped forward, and chuckled, “ Give us the money wench, and we wont hurt you.” Normally she would be terrified, but Raine spent some time with hooligans just a little bit ago, and she learned a few things. Raineunsheathed her blade, which glowed a glinting silver.

‘ If you want the money, come and get it.’ The man grunted, and stepped forward in a attempt to grab her. Raine leapt back and slapped his hand away to the side with her blade. Frustrated the thief ran forward gritting his teeth. Raine, unprepared for that, screamed and sprinted off to the right. She was closely followed by the five men, who started to gain up on the woman. Raine ran between two buildings but was in agony to find out that it was a dead end. The men closed in on her and she threw the money at them.

“There, have it,” She said in defeat. The thief grunted, and laughed, he looked at her evilly. A looked that struck fear in Raine’s heart.

“ Oh no little lady, your blade scratched my hand up, and i want revenge for that.' He walked up and grabbed Raine by the shoulders and slapped her hard across the face.

She screamed and pulled out a hidden knife from the inside of her coat, and she stabbed the man hard in the chest. The grip on her shoulder weakened as she saw his body fall to the ground. In a daze she fell to her knees, “What did i just do?’

She looked up to see two guards who were walking by stop and look down the alley way, " You! Stop! " one said as she stood about to make a run for it. It wasn't her fault, she was attacked, but how was she supposed to explain this one.

"Stop" Hana said to the guards. When the guards saw Hana, they knee to her. "W-why?" a guard say scared of offending her. "The real villians are them" Hana said pointing at the mans. They were in the ground. They seem defeated. "I defeated them already, you can take them to jail now" Hana said walking towards the woman and ask "Are you okay?"

(What if she doesn't know who Hana is? That'll be cool…)

Raine looked up from the blood on the ground to see a girl standing there. She was about Raines age, perhaps a bit younger, but it was hard to tell. She spoke with maturity and strength. But the thing that suprised her more, was the fact that this girl was covering for Raine. Why would she do that?

Raine initiated the attack of the men instead of handing them her purse, she deserved to be punished for her crimes, however, she didnt like the idea of being in a cramped dark cell anyways. Raine has always been strong, but seeing this stranger protect made her tear up a little. The girl reminded Raine of Folt, but that was a long time ago.

A look of curiousity hit Raine's face as she saw the guards kneel to the girl. Who was she? Was she royalty? A noble? Perhaps just the general's daughter? what is she had power beyond Raines? So many questions flew into her head. But all she kept coming back to was the question of Why?...

She stumbled to her feet as the men came closer to haul away whatever men werent dead, as for the one that was bleeding all over the ground, he was taken to the morgue. Raine kept quiet, only staring at the girl, unsure of what to say. She was sure a Thank you would suffice but it couldnt come off her tongue at the moement.

Raine gasped as she saw the blood all over her dress, it wasn't really a nice ress as it was, but it was Raine's favorite, as it was the perfect shade of soft blue. She only had two dresses in the entire world, and she just ruined one. Tears fell from her cheeks, and she whispered out a soft, " Why?..." To the girl, still staring at her dress. Trauma creeping in on Raine and her memory.

Hana wasn't used to see people cry. She'd live a life were everyone is happy, she can have everything she wants... a royal life. She saw the blood in the girl's clothe and she rapidly say "Come one" Hana lend her hand to the woman. "Why don't we buy you some new clothe and eat something?" Hana said with a smile.

Raine looked up at the girl her offered her help. She completely avoided Raines question, but perhaps it was better that way. The girl was nice, and Raine really hasnt seen alot of kindness in this world aside from her own. So this was like a breath of fresh air, however, one of her peeves is feeling like a burden, and for this girl to rescue her and feed and cloth her, she felt obligated to pay.

Raine knealt down, picking up her scattered coin and putting them back in her burlap sack. Half of them were gone, wehter they were picked up, or fell down a drain, or off in a corner, thats a weeks pay of hers that vanished.

Once again she felt like crying but she sucked it up and stood, looking over to the girl she nodded and cupped her hands in front of her. She kinda eyed around, but what would you expect f something like that just happened to you.

She looked at the girl, " Thank You, for everything..." she said quietly, she really was gratefull. but a little uneasy about why the girl could be so kind to her, a murderer.

"There is a store over there, the clothe is really beautiful, how about we go there?" Hana smiled looking at the store. "And i'm really hungry..." Hana complained. Hana started walking towards the store. "Oh, I want that" She said looking at a jewel.

Raine nodded as Hana leaded them to the store, Raine was a little leary of going there as it looked expensive. She blushed as she didnt want to have Hana pay for anything. It just wasn't right in her mind. Raine kept quiet as they neared the shop.

Hana proclaimed loudly as she looked at the jewel, and Raine bit her lip, it was beautifull, but she could only dream of owning something so beautifull. Raine looked around, the clothes here were rather expensive, and she got rather uneasy.

But as she turned around she saw the most beautifull dress she had laid eyes on. It was a pale baby blue color, with beautifull white lace around the hem line and across the chest. It was about knee high, and was a halter top, Held up by a sapphire jewel. Raine gasped as she imagined herself in something like that. " Wow... It's like a princesses dress," She said as she went to touch the fabric which ended up being the softest silk she has felt.

Hana looked how Raine was looking at a dress, which was gorgeous. She walk towards the dress and say "Gorgeous... You really have a sense of style" Hana said. Hana noticed how the store owner was looking at Raine's clothe with blood, but she guessed they didn't complained because she was next to her, the princess. Hana then grab the dress carefully and the jewel as well and say "So we have the dress you are going to wear to eat in the the castle" Hana said, basically inviting her to the castle to eat. Hana also said it un purpose, since she noticed Raine didn't know she was the princess. For the first time in years, someone is her friend, not just because she is a princess.

Queen Mei had heard that they were going to receive a guest for dinner. She hurried the servants to prepare for the guest, while she got in her evening gown and did up her hair in an elegant bundle. She kept by her bedroom window to see when her daughter and the guest arrived. She watch the sun begin to set as the cloudless sky turn a beautiful orange.
