Malila Nadie Malila Nadie walked towards the tavern within the capital of the Fire Nation, excuse me, empire. Of course in this age anyone was welcome in the Empire nowadays, but it was not always like that. For example the 100 years war made nations pit against each other. After the war, however, the new fire lord and the avatar made peace. Therefore the world has had peace with the known world. Though no one would know if an assassination started a war, an uprising, or anything for that matter. The world has become habitual with people drinking their sorrows away or going to work each day to get a few pieces of money.
Malila’s feet touched the even and uniform cobblestone path. Each brick was a dull gray and seemed to be faded overtime. Her head tilted upward seeing he tavern’s doors still and the windows made of glass. This showed a few men clicking glasses on the second floor. She gave a slight grin and looked at the doors again. She immediately checked if her bow and quiver, which she named Ivar, were strapped to her back.
Her feet carried her to the entrance of the tavern. Her black leather gloves touched the doors and carried through. The bar on the first floor had around ten people around with a bunch of tables still open for anyone else. Being in the Order Malila was staying in the Empire for a few nights before getting an assignment. Of course she was still looking for an apprentice to teach, she would prefer a girl but even a boy that was agile and quick witted would do.
She walked over to the edge of the bar and ordered a light beer that was a Harp on the quick menu she read. The guy manning the bar gave a nod and went into the back for the beer. As he did this Malila’s mind seem to wander into thinking of her new assignment.
