Inner wall only thing between them and Ba Sing Se (Closed)

It's been several hours now since him and Massie, a recently new travel companion., started their way to the city from the desolated lake where the two met. The only thing between them and the lower ring of the city now is the inner wall that surrounds the city.

This wasn't your every day ordinary wall either. It stood easily fifty feet tall and who knows how thick it exactly was either. Decorated along the top every five or ten yards were groups of four earth benders that protected the wall. They wore dressed in green and black gi/uniforms. He heard rumors about how fierce these guys were to any who tried entering without consent.

He whispered softly, " If they ask us anything, leave the talking to me. Unless they directly ask you anything." He took a couple of quick paced steps so he was ahead of her slightly. They were coming up the middle of two of the groups, who were now zoned in on the wanderers as the sun begun to cast its light upon the land behind them.

God I hope they don't want to cause us any trouble and just let us enter He thought to himself as he got closer and closer to the wall.

Massie was silent the whole way. Massie nodded. Massie looked at the groups. Just please, please let us thorough. Massie thought.

With Orions eyes locked onto the two groups as they converged together at the point where the two of them would run into the wall. One of them stepped out of the rest and extended his left arm outward, signaling them to stop where they were.

And without hesitation, Orion quickly stopped in his tracks, hoping his new found friend would do the same. His eyes were peeled open, watching the so called leader's every movement as he placed his hands behind his back. So if they decided to attack, with his pouches full of water open, he could deflect some of the attacks and make a get away from the scene hopefully without injury...or even a death.

Massie saw this, and stopped. Massie looked at them with eyes that were gentle but said let us thorough. Massie didn't speak. She hoped Orion didn't have too.

"What brings you to Ba Sing Se?" The soldiers voice boomed out across the surrounding area.

"We seek a lodge and to replenish our supplies. We are weary and seek the protection behind your great wall while we gain our strength to start traveling again." He stated, practically screaming at the top of his lungs so the soldier could hear his words. He took a deep breath and kept his composure.

His hair swayed ever so gently as a gentle breeze danced along the area which surrounded the two, which now was starting to fill with tension from the long pauses between the two men.

Massie's hair blew in the breeze. Massie didn't speak. It was like, she had no voice, but she actually did. Massie looked at them there was a glow in her eyes saying she was tired.

Each of the soldiers that stood upon the wall glanced at one another before they were standing parallel one another. They all performed a few movements before thrusting their arms away from the other warrior beside them.

The ground he stood on began to shake violently as the wall began to slowly separate, as if there was a seam in the wall that was invisible to all eyes. No, that's the incredible strength of all those benders working as one. A huge grin slid across his face as he turned to Massie.

"Let's go find an inn to rest our weary eyes. Then we'll go shopping later in the day." He said as he turned away from her and started making his way between the wall, which now was parted like the Red Sea.

Massie watched the benders with interest. Massie nodded. "Okay". Massie said, smiling. Massie started making her way, her hair had stopped blowing. Good job Orion you got us in. Massie thought, happily.
