Weapons: A very fine dagger with a costly hilt, similar to the one his little brother Rozan wields. It is more of an ornament than an actual weapon, but finely balanced. Nuran has never been a good fighter, but if he got attacked, he would certainly rather rely on his waterbending than on his weak fighting skills with a blade.

Nuran is the only male Shang who never was part of the military and showed no motivation or skill to become a warrior. He chose the path of a politician because his family urged him to, but if it was his choice, he would probably solely live for his art.

|APPEARANCE|

Hair:
Like most Shang children (apart from Railja, the youngest), Nuran has pitch black hair. It is completely straight, with not even as much as a slight wave, and most of the time shimmering like silk. He often wears it up in the traditional fire nation-top knot, but in his spare time, especially when he practices his bending, he lets it flow down to his shoulders like a black veil.
Eyes: Nuran's eyes are light blue, just like his mother's or his brother Verrail's, but not quite as piercing as theirs and not quite as deep as the sea. They sparkle, too, but most of the time with amusement or mischief, not with the strong, unbreakable energy his family members have.
Height: He is the second smallest of his brothers, but still stands at 1,88m and thereby towers over the fragile female members of the family.
Clothes:
Nuran enjoys extravagant clothing, but his sense of style is not as well developed as his mother's or his brother Verrail's, who have that in common as well as their exceptional eyes. Due to his job as ambassador, however, he not often has that much of a choice on what he's wearing. Most of the time he just wears the traditional, splendid garments of a Fire Nation nobleman, with the small insignia of his house on the front and a larger, but still rather sublty weaved insignia of the Fire Nation on the back of his formal robes.
Skin:
Nuran has been lucky and has inherited his mother's fair skin. Thanks to being indoors a lot and not working hard, his hands are soft and slim and apart from some dark inkspots at times and the hard fingertips he got from playing the lute. They tell the tale of a man who rather talks than acts, and enjoys peace and tea more than war and sweat.
Body Type:
Nuran is slim built, far more slender than his brothers. Together with his long features, he almost seems to be a bit lanky, but thanks to the bending exercises he manages to move just fine and agile. However, he is clearly no fighter and no great athlete, just a normal citizen.
