CHARACTERISTICS

Personality: She is a very dark and sinister character, most of the times she cannot be bothered with the ways of life. She struggles to see joy or any emotion therefore she cannot see the point in friends. Her life evolves around the use of sarcasm and keeping to the shadows which offer her protection from all the earth loving folk who only see what they want to see.
Personal Strengths: Never attached to anything (which is also a weakness as well), Perfected her bending art, pretty good at revealing nothing.
Personal Weaknesses: Cannot understand the ways of joy and happiness (having never experienced any), Never attaches to anything, not driven by any aspect of life.

Brief History:
Not much to say to describe Shila to be honest. She was born into poverty in the Dark Kingdom, the daughter of a soldier who during her life slowly worked his way through the ranks, however he left her and her mother behind in the slums to run off with some general's daughter. Her and her mother did best to make ends meet and when she discovered she had the power to command the shadows she was forced to busk in the streets performing bending in order to put food on the table that night. During her twelfth year her mother caught a severe cause of flu and she had to watch her slowly die. Shila had pleaded with people on the streets who liked to watch her perform, anyone who passed her by if they knew or could find someone who could help. But in her and her mother's time of need they simply ignored them. It was then Shila lost all consideration for the people. She has travelled around the dark kingdom in its entirity, learning the various skills from different masters so she could herself master the many versions of dark bending. It was a few years ago she left the dark kingdom now so caught up in its war, which she has no care for. She has no care for who's side is whom and will do anything for payment of a sort. Ultimately she is the perfect mercenary when she can be bothered.
