Passing Through (Open to Henate)

"Its not like you were the one that made father stop loving Mother and caused him to leave" she said. That sounded like she was angry. Not at him perhaps, but at her father. He decided to try and take the conversation elsewhere. "So whats this town like? You said you've lived here your entire life, so you probably know alot about it" he said.

Mizuki simply shakes her head "I don't actually. I havent been able to experience everything of the town, I've been working ever since I was 9 years old" she said, smiling towards him "But there is a clear divide between the earth kingdom citizens and the fire nation citizens though, I sort of fit into both groups" she finished off, taking another sip if her cup.

He looked down at his tea for a moment, then looked up at her. "Do any of the people here ever give you trouble, for, you know, being both?" he asked. He didn't want to hurt her feelings, but he was starting to understand her alittle bit better. With such a rough childhood, he wondered how she had come out so sweet. He looked down at his tea, then took a sip. It was starting to cool, but he liked it that way.

Mizuki shrugs slightly "Yeah, I guess. Even though I fit into both groups, there are still people who view me as the off-spring of someone who betrayed their land. So, I have to admitt I have been assaulted physically because of it, but you know, one can't let the past bring you down, but you have to just carry on and move forwards." She responded, smiling towards him, taking a couple of sips from her cup, smiling towards him

People could be horrible sometimes, assaulting as nice girl as this, just because her mother and father were..at the same time, her words were inspiring. He always tried to do the same, never back down and keep moving forward. Sometimes though he would be dragged down, and he would have to find his way back up. He liked this girl the more he got to know her. He took another sip of tea. He looked at her. He hadn't really looked at her all night, he had been to nervous (he had just looked past her). Her eyes...he accidently ended up staring at her for a few seconds.

Mizuki raises an eyebrow, noticing Ordan had started to stare "What?" she asks in a sharp tone, finally finishing up her cup of tea, practically giving him a mild glare "Something wrong or anything" she asks him. "Are you pondering about wether I am a firebender or earth bender or something like that?" she asked on.

"Huh? Oh!" he started. He realised he had been staring. "I, um, what? Oh, yeah, I was just wondering..that" he said. He cleared his throat. What was that? That was the second time that had happened that night. He tried to shake it off.

Mizuki sighs slightly "I'm a fire-bender" she states. Glancing towards him. 'What the heck is it with this guy?' she quietly thought to herself. Scratching her cheek. "So.. Its getting late.. Do you have somewhere to stay for the night" she asked him, raising an eyebrow

"Um.." Ordan hadn't had a place to "stay" since the Desert. He really missed a bed. Ordan looked at his tea. He was still trying to shake off what had just happened. "No, but I'll be fine" he said, looking up at her and smiling. "I've roughed it more then once, I'll find someplace to sleep" he said, optimistic. He took another sip of his tea, hitting the bottom. For some reason, that last bit of tea was always cold and thick. He couldn't figure out why.

Mizuki can't help it but to sigh as she reaches a hand into her pocket pulling out a few coins holding them out towards him in her hand "Here, get a room at the inn."She simply said, a smile flashing up on her face "Their beds are really comfortable" she finished off, waiting for him to accept the coins
