Kasumi cried and she kneeled next to Nerusso's body. She remembered how he used to care for her, and let her fly on Gerii. She let the airbenders put him in a coffin, and she followed them. ''Nerusso, was a brave man, quite moody at sometimes, he was only concerned about our safety. I never realised, until the minute the devil killed him, how much I loved him. But he might have sacrificed his life for this Nation. We all miss you Nerusso, and thank you for your sacrifice''. Kasumi said, with a sob afterwards and she hugged her daughter, who was crying so much.

Haziea's eyes were wet, and she hugged her mother. Nerusso always spent time with her, and sometimes comforted her when she was upset. She wiped her eyes and looked at the citizens, who were in tears aswell. ''It is very upsetting to lose a member of our family, but he did this for all of our safety''. Haziea said and she looked at the citizens.
