BASICS
Name: Kutaki Tang
Age: 17
Rank: Earth Bender
Pets: Drusus, the beetle. A little less than a foot in length. Kutaki and him came together when Kutaki's father left. He wanted to prove he was better than his father, and was determined to be better to the beetle then his own father was to him. As the bettle grew older, as all animals do, Kutaki used his metal bending to enrich the carapace with iron, making Drusus' much stronger than your average giant beetle. He is able to fly as all beetles can, however because of his hardened shell he cannot fly that high or far.
Weapons: Two medium sized steel hammers. Counterbalances at the end of each handle let him swing them around with great speed, or can be used as bending material in a pinch.
APPEARANCE
Hair: Short and spikey brown hair. Kutaki feels that long hair just gets in the way, and keeps his own short and off of his face to reduce distraction.
Eyes: Burning red with passion, not hate. Round and average in every other way.
Height: 6'10"
Clothes: As with hair, Kutaki doesn't enjoy fancy clothes. He wears the simplest of functional garments, leather pants with many pockets and a dark shirt. Because he is often plainly dressed and a little dirty, he can blend in to crowds very easily.

Brief History:
Growing up in the earth kingdom, his father was a moody man who often came home from work and drank himself into a stupor. He made sure that he reminded Kutaki often how much of a failure he was, and how he spent too much time earthbending and tinkering with his metal, and not enough time doing prouctive things like working. One day, his father left his family. When that happened, Kutaki step up and became the man of his household, being supportive for his mother and little sister as they steadily grew out of poverty. Even though the war had been over for many years, and peace was everywhere throughout the world, the Tang family remained in poverty due to his father's stealing the family's savings and spending it on alcohol. With the departure of Mr. Tang, they finally could start working their way back up.
When they had some breathing room, Kutaki left in search of his father. He asked around his town, and gathered that he had left for the next town over. After finding and confronting him, his father went into a fit of rage and attacked Kutaki. Using his hammers, he easily deflected his slow blows, knocking his father to the ground. Looking upon his own sire, he felt a wave of disgoust ripple though his body. He walked home to his family, and told them that they should not concern themselves with thoughts about Mr. Tang anymore.
