Toko

Toko Mallong. A metal bender. Before she was born she'd warped the necklace around her mother's neck, shattered the lights in her parent's room, crushed the door handles of her home.

She was loved but also feared. 4 years after her birth that fear became justified, and Toko found herself on the streets. Then found her imprisoned. Her arms bound, held in a wooden cage.

Many came to see her. And she was treated well. Everyone knew it wasn't her fault. Found comfort in her personality, humor in her jokes, sympathy in her tears. But they feared her. She's
d laugh in her cage about the great Toph Beifong. She seemed to blame her for her curse. The metal had damned her.

A young investor sought to manipulate her, promised to free her from her curse. He knew the avatar. It didn't end well.But Toko was free from her chains.

She'd learned to control her outbursts. Attempted not to metal bend. Had to bind her arms as she slept.


Toko is now 21. And her curse must end. It has to.
