Kouzai and the others landed in the courtyard. Kouzai fell to his knees, he was weak from blood-loss. He leaned back against a tree and examined his wound. He knew he had to get that arrow out and get it healed up soon or he wouldn't make it. Kouzai held his breath and pulled out the arrow and Skye knelt down and started to help heal him. Kouzai put a hand on Skye's shoulder "Thank you" he said as he leaned forward and kissed her cheek.

Taka walked into the yard, examining everything and taking all the information in. He moved his hands around, opening all the holes in the hand, sending a fire blast into the air. The blast was just enough to be seen by the close by medical officials and soldiers. The white and blue flames told them instantly who was sending out the summoning and for what purpose. The white signified Taka and the blue signified immediate medical personnel to be assemble at the position.

Taka walked over to the Fire Lord, leaning down to examine the wound and see the damages, happy that it wasn't extremely severe. He would still need medical aid, but it would not take the teams long to assemble. No sooner did Taka stand up, did a group of 4 Fire Nation medics come from behind him. He held up his hand and opened the holes in his gloves, letting out extremely controlled orbs of light with a soft light, allowing for sight from every angle into the wound.

Fire Lord Kouzai, would you mind if the medical team escorted you to the medical bay for an immediate inspection and healing? Taka looked over at the woman with him and bowed. This was as close to reverence Taka showed to much of anyone.

((OOC: Kouzai, would you mind taking control of the medics if you do go to the Infirmary so we don't have to make short posts?))

Kouzai sighed "Skye this is Taka, he's my guard" said Kouzai "Taka, please leave me alone, I'm fine and Skye is doing a good job alone." Kouzai took Skye's hand in his own and smiled at her. "Keep going, it's helping" he said to her.

Tekara watched the scene with soft eyes. Love; it was something powerful indeed. Her fiance had been a bastard, but he probably loved her. "Kouzai," she asked. "Do you have any additional wounds? Anything Kiari can heal?"

Said child was some distance away chasing butterflies and whatnot. His hair tossed and rippled, the thick ponytail bouncing all around. Tekara shook her head; he was really something. Most likely he'd pass out asleep once they found somewhere to rest anyway.

"No Skye's got most of them" he said "This wars gonna be hell, I've allready made war plans with the light kingdom, I'll send my cousin Shen in to lead the attack on the Dark Nation....Skye I'm heading somewhere important, and I'd like you to come with me"

Skye finished healing the wound. It would hurt for weeks, but shouldn't cause much more damage. She looked up at Kouzai, he had asked her to go with him. For a fleeting moment she almost said yes, then her eyes hardened and she shook her head. "I'm sorry, but I have duties to my tribe that I have been ignoring. It's time for me to return to lead my people. We are in a poor condition, with all the Fire Nation raids and whatnot." She gave Kouzai an accusing look, but regretted it. He didn't have anything to do with it. Skye stood up, tucking her hair behind her ears. "I'll leave in the morning, if that's alright with you." She sounded stiff, polite, and formal.

"Leave as soon as you need" he said, he could sense the feelings they shared before were gone. Kouzai smiled 'This is to be expected....she lost her father, I guess the flames have become less than a spark' he thought. "Skye, I think it's best we're just friends, it's been fun being in love with you, and being partners with you on the council....but I understand where you're coming from, hopefully we can stay in touch....by the way I'll send in resource ships with money and resources to help you rebuild....I'll also assign top carpenters to help with the construction, and I'll leave some of the army there in case the rogue soldiers that still follow my father come back....hey Skye, if you want I could escort you back, for old times sake? My mission isn't complete till I get you back there in one peace...what do you say?" asked Kouzai.

Skye strained a smile. "No, I'll go on my own. It's your duty to stay here as well, I'm sure you want to clear the Fire Nation of it's wrongs. And it would be nice to stay in touch." Skye had all of her things ready, and she went inside and grabbed them. There was a ship waiting in the harbor to take her home. "Bye Kouzai," she said, kissing him lightly on the cheek. Skye was soon lost from site as she boarded the boat and went home.
