A long time role-player that's recently discovered Avatar, and wanted in.

I'm particularly interested in the Mind Bending and Nature Bending. Nature Bending sounds very fun, but I'm curious about the extent to which Mind Bending goes. Is it limited to just being a puppet master? Can you Bend a Bender into Bending? What are the ranges to the mental powers, distance, strength, creativity, if more than just pulling strings? Or are things more fluid?

But back on topic while I play round robin with my avatar, can anyone enlighten me as to the particulars of Mind Bending?

Thank you Tsumi. Had I not had a 13 hour day today, I'd have my application in tonight. I'll try for it tomorrow.

What I'd like to do is hive mind a couple characters, create a literal Team Avatar. Illusion based powers are great for role play. Bending emotions can buff allies and debuff enemies. Dream quests and odd Spirit interactions would be included. I'd also like to be able to force puppet someone ala Bloodbending, or combine Bending dances and telepathy to predict react to attacks before they are made.

Hinge being that whenever he bends, he weakens his senses. The more minds he effects, the weaker his own senses are. He already has deadened senses, with 5 minds bent he is deaf, blind, and lose tactile and olfactory senses. He can use the senses of those he bends, but only theirs. If he works with an Earthbender with Tremor Sense, he doesn't get Tremor Sense himself, but he is aware of anything the Earthbender is.

Also plan of giving him some prosthetics ala Combustion Man, if that's allowed.

That very possible, I've never seen that show (yes, long time nerd, but just know getting into the culture). Would those kind of powers fit in to this forum? The Mind Bending entry is quite brief, and contradictory.

If this isn't a good fit, I've plenty of other characters I'd like to play, just going down my list.

I really do not know much about mind bending to tell you. Only Kouzai the head admin can tell you that answer. Just you can not God Mod with mind bending like reading someones mind to know what they are doing that kind of stuff. I think mind bending revolves around controlling animals...but not sure though.
