Hiya

Hey there, obviously I'm new here, so obviously I'm making an obligatory 'hello' post. My name's Simon, I'm 19 and live in North Carolina.
-no clue of what I should be putting in here-

Anyway, I used to roleplay more in the past, including some avatar, and felt like getting back into it so here I am. The site seems neat and active so far, so that's good. I'll try to be online and keep up with things, but I usually work in the evenings so I'm not really sure on what times I'll be posting.

My character's going to be an orphaned (I hope you don't have a problem with this) gender neutral girl, meaning while a female body, she doesn't embrace either gender, she's just a person. adopted by a librarian and pretty much a bookworm. (no problem with the original parents, just didn't keep her)

So yeah that's about all I can think to say at the moment, I did browse over the rules and such, but functioning on little sleep makes things I've read time and time before kinda blur together, so I'll reread it later.

One question I do have, is about 'Machine bending'. it wasn't listed in the 'official bending elements'

Hey, there, Simon! I believe I saw you in the chat before, but I wasn't really talking a heck of a lot, and just wanted to make a more proper introduction! You can call me Yuki, and I welcome you to the site! It's great to know you have roleplaying experience, and I'm sure you'll fit right on in!

As for your character, it's perfectly alright to me! We don't hinder creativity here - you're character is your character, and you have freedom to do what you please, so don't fret! ^^;;

And, about the 'Machine bending.' It's not an official bending element at the moment, but I would say 'Metal Bending,' would be your closest bet, for the time being, that is. It's always a possibility that it may be added later on in the plot, but as of right now, I can't guarantee is it. I'd recommend speaking to the either of the head admins, Fire Lord Kouzai or Earth King Lu about it, though!
