Appearance:He is 10 inches tall, with a long tail, 2 foot wingspan, orange feet, sharp silver talons, a black oval shaped beak, a 3 inch crest on top of his head, red orange feathers, and round black eyes.

Personality:He is loyal, aggressive, protective, swift, stubburn, and stealthy.
Background:I was taking a quiet walk through the Ember Island jungle, when I heard a loud commotion up ahead. I silently inched forward to investigate, and that is when I saw a phoenix in distress. I was being harassed by a group of poachers that were obviously trying to collect a rare creature as a trophy. After hearing its awful cry of distress, I couldn't stand it any longer. I lashed out with a stream of fire at the poachers from the shadows. They were so surprised that they dropped the creature and turn tail and ran and never looked back. Then when I looked at the creature, I saw that one of its wings was broken, so I wanted to take him home and heal him. I saw that he was agitated, so I walked slowly and calmly toward him, but he wouldn't let me near him. I spoke softly and calmly to him, and he calmed down and let me near him. So I walked up to him, picked him up, and carried him home to nurse him back to health. For awhile he didn't trust me because of the poacher attack, but over time he grew fond of me because I took care of him. When he got well I tried to release him back into the wild, but he didn't want to leave my so he became my new friend and companion. He now carries messages for me, and he helps me in battle when I need it.
