Brief History:A beautiful woman,with gorgous black hair and blue eyes walked the southern trube.She was known as 'Gorgous water' or 'Elegant waterbender'.She was quite pleased with her nicknames but wanted more.She wanted a family.She wanted someone to share her wisdom with.Too bad no man caught her eye.Except one.The beautiful woman was a traveler.She swept across land eachday,but stopped by the air temples for once.To check them out.There she met a man.A firebending noble.They had alot in commin.But he was afraid.He was afraid she wouldn't like him because he was a fire bender and so he lied and told her he was a nonbender of the southern tribe.At that same night she was pregnant by theat same man.They soon went their seperate ways promising eachother they'll see eachother again.

The woman went back to her tribe.Not feeling good and going through stuff that only pregnant women go through.She soon realize she was and tried to contact the guy.She went to the southern tribe and they said they have never heard of this noble.Which turned her back home.Soon the day came.Maria was born.The woman got remarried to a tribe warrior and lived a happy life with now three kids.Maria was at age five when they noticed everything she was around would melt.Maria was mad one day and then it happened.She finally fire bend.Her mother wasn't mad but the tribe was saying that there was no place for her there.



At the same time that was happening the handsome firebending noble was searching for the woman.She told him no specific location,he first checked the Northern tribe for her,and once he found her and Maria,he was in shock.That he had a child and that the woman go remarried.He was heartbroken but decided to take Maria with him back to the fire nation.He noticed she had a hard time fire bending but how everytime she would get mad about it she would lightning bend.He slowly taught her that first but it was odd she couldn't fire bend normally.
