Maya is completely black, save for the marking of Horus' "all seeing eye" super imposed over her left eye. Mysteriously, she is blind out of this same eye while the other eye harbors perfect vision. She's long, slender, and extremely coordinated, possessing advanced agility and balance for even a cat.

Though she has been a family pet for all of Tojii's life, she has powers that are unknown. She's a skilled dark and light bender, but uses the abilities extremely sparingly.

APPEARANCE

Hair: Jet black, wavy, drops just below his eyes, varies in length from shoulder-length to baldness.
Eyes: A little smaller than average, almond shaped, various shades of gray.
Height: 5'10"
Clothes: He wears a white home-made monk robe that is lined with a black trim. The trim rises up the sides of the pant legs symmetrically and becomes a solid band that meets at the waist. The upper body portion of the robe is adorned with two pockets in the front lower corners that are barely visible, save for the small black strip of trim that guards the mouth of the pockets and black trim around the collar and sleeve ends.

CHARACTERISTICS

Personality: Tojii is a young kid with a huge heart. A five year exodus from society has left him extremely naive and ignorant to the ways of the world. During this hiatus exercised upon his family by his father, he gained a myriad of personal skill and discipline, oftentimes startling people many times his elder with his wisdom.

He is extremely humble and has an intense longing to know the world.

Brief History:
Tojii was born in a small hut somewhere in the light kingdom. His father, Omi, was a holy man who garnered great respect from the community and abroad. During the second year of Tojii's life, his father had a vision of the Dark nation attacking the Light and sought safety for his family, sending them into the wilderness region surrounding the light kingdom and building what would be their home as well as a sanctuary for those displaced by the war and seeking peace. Eleven years later, the first attacks began.

During his childhood, Tojii showcased exceptional humility and behavior for a child, as well as a natural affinity for bending light, something that had skipped the last generation of his family. His father, while not looking down on the art of bending light, saw his sons duty to God as being more important, and ultimately, the most important thing, and as such, Tojii was guided to neglect his light bending abilities in favor of finding the permanent amidst the impermanence.
